This nature trail runs from the northern end of Second Island Park along the river to the southern end of Coulson Park. As you follow the river through the King George V Park, The Parade, and the Quays, you will discover a series of 15 posts with rubbing plaques depicting local wildlife and trees. At each post you can make a picture on paper by placing it over the black plaque and gently rubbing with a soft colouring pencil or crayon.
The trail starts at the entrance into Second Island Park from Restormel Road, marked by an arrow on this map. When you enter by the wooden gate, turn towards the right and look out for the statue of an otter. You might like to draw a picture of the otter and watch out for any of his friends along the trail. One of his friends, Losti, will be your guide along the trail.
